Why does the Vita not show up in the Nativ Smartphone App?

If the Vita does not show up in the startup screen of the Nativ Smartphone app please try the following:
1. On the Vita please go to Settings > Connectivity > Network and change the Network Name of the Vita. Once the name has been changed please wait until the Vita boots up again.

2. On your Smartphone please “kill” (close) the Nativ app and then open it again to see if the Vita is now recognized with the new name. Please ensure that your phone and the Vita are in the same network.
If this does not help please make sure that your router does not block port 1900 (e.g. via firewall) and that the ports  50000 to 50100 are open.
