Nativ has created a revolutionary high fidelity music player with a 11.6-inch touchscreen and provides “easy access to all the music of the world”. The player supports streaming services like Apple, Spotify, Tidal and others, and also plays music tracks stored on your smartphone, computer or NAS.

The high fidelity music player has its own memory — one or two SSD or hard disk drive total volume up to 4 TB. Among other features of the device include a built-in microphone and voice control. The design of Nativ Vita is based on premium aluminum, wood and glass.

Vita features HDMI, USB, SPDIF, AES/EBU, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Gigabit Ethernet, and Bluetooth (aptX) connectivity. The playback stream can be routed to the sound system or headphones, the TV, the AV receiver or DAC via wired or wireless connection.

Together with Nativ Vita the company has launched Nativ Wave, an external digital-to-analog Converter with integrated headphone amplifier. Nativ Wave supports formats like DSD, DXD and Meridian MQA. It uses the DAC chip Burr-Brown DSD1792A that support 24-bit data and sample rates up to 192 kHz.

The Vita costs approximately $1600, Wave sells for around $1900. Participants in the fundraiser can get any of the components for $699. Deliveries to the first customers will start in October 2016.
