Navigating your music.
Browse your music library with Nativ Vita's intuitive user interface concept.
All music that is stored on the built-in hard disk drives will appear under the LOCAL MUSIC category, and the shared music library in your network will appear in the NETWORK MUSIC category. Navigating your music is simple and you will feel right at home. We use the same popular categories you know from the music player software on your computer or smartphone. And a few more.

Music on the built-in hard disk drives features a few extra categories that allow you to browse specialized music genres — like Classical music and Jazz — properly. These categories include Conductor, Performer, Orchestra, Instrument and Publisher. Please refer to the metadata standard and editing instructions for more information.
Want to customize which music categories you want to see and in which order? You can find the instructions here.
In addition to our own user interface we also allow streaming and browsing of your music with the software from Roon Labs. Please refer to the separate instructions to find out how to use their interface.
Recently Played.
Had a great listening session yesterday? You can conveniently find the music you listened to under the RECENTLY PLAYED category.
Tap on the album cover icon in the top right corner to access the cover view:

This software is really well done. I thought I’d soon try a roon subscription but because I own most music I listen to (and have it stored on the Vita) and since your browsing software is done so well I’m going to stick with this (at least for now). Thank you.

Thanks so much Kirk, this is really nice to hear.
SWebb
Is there a way to play a random selection of songs within a specific genre?
Nativ Support > SWebb
Hello Steven, this is not possible right now. I will add this to the wish list as it seems to be a great feature.
